Building Works

Although not a front line activity of the company, J.R. Goddard Contracting has a competent building team. Not only are we capable of assembling office and accommodation camps on our construction sites, we have also been called upon for the construction of several civil structures across Zimbabwe.

These include utility halls for the Church of Latter-day Saints in Gweru and Kadoma, a gymnasium and computer centre at Falcon School in Esgodini, kitchen facilities at Midlands Christian School, several workshops and offices at Ngezi Mine and the complete block-making plant for the Zimasco smelter in Kwekwe. In 2018 J R G engaged with the Hopeville Housing Development in Bulawayo, undertaking all the civil construction of surfaced roads, water and sewer reticulation and has now begun erecting many of the 1,500 medium cost houses.
