Mining Infrastructure

J.R. Goddard Contracting has played an integral role in the infrastructural growth of Turf Village at Ngezi Platinum Mine — a mining development of 2,000 stands constructed from virgin bush. J.R. Goddard Contracting has taken responsibility for the construction of roads, storm water drainage and water and sewer reticulation systems, including reservoirs and sewerage ponds.

The company has also been involved in the infrastructural development of Unki Platinum Mine, Mimosa Mine and Bokai Mine. During 2017 and 2018, J R G was the preferred contractor for the Portal 6 Infrastructural Development at Ngezi Platinum Mine.

Beyond earthworks, J.R. Goddard Contracting has the equipment and know-how to undertake civil construction projects including heavy reinforced concrete, masonry and building works. These include the construction of offices and accommodation facilities, camps, and foundations for incoming processing plants — as well as reservoirs, leach pads, hard standings, fuel and explosive facilities, raise-bore foundations, conveyor foundations, crusher foundations, portals, workshops, offices, sewers and water works.
