J.R. Goddard Contracting specializes in large-scale earthworks and bulk load-and-haul operations throughout Zimbabwe. It is the core of our business. We recognize the potential for growth in this sector and have expanded our scope as the demand for work increases. As a result, we boast a modern fleet of earth-moving equipment in Zimbabwe, enabling us to meet the requirements of our many earthworks customers.

We can mobilize up to 20 skilled and experienced excavator/haulier teams, ranging from 20-tonne hydraulic excavators with 7-tonne tractor dumpers, to 90-tonne hydraulic excavators with 45-tonne articulated and 60 tonne rigid dump trucks. We also have a variety of D6, D8 and D9 bulldozers, graders, water bowsers and heavy duty de-watering pumps. Our impressive fleet has the capacity to load and haul in excess of 2.2 million cubic metres of blasted rock and compacted soil per month, with full in-house back-up of contractual management, planning, survey control and measurement and mechanical support and maintenance.

J.R. Goddard Contracting is currently involved in several high profile projects across Zimbabwe. These include bulk earthwork projects at Ngezi and Unki Platinum Mines, Pickstone Peerless and Ansh Gold Mines, Arcadia Lithium Mine, various Portnex Chrome mines and Zambezi Gas Hwange Coal mine.
